The holidays mean something different to everyone.
For me, it was driving around to buy presents for friends and family, while blasting Christmas music and sucking in all of the local decorations.
Not that many people decorate for Christmas anymore, at least not in my area.
9/11, 2 wars, a horrible recession and an all time high level of skepticism of religion has really diluted the collective holiday spirit to the point of nonexistence.
The good news is we can help people rediscover the holiday joy they experienced before all of that nonsense too place.
We can create ads and campaigns that remind people the holidays are a time of love, and giving.
Within 99% of us is a deep faith in the good of all humanity. The holidays allow us to optimistically embrace, and enjoy that feeling by spending time with the people and places we adore, and look forward to.
I challenge all of us to embrace this holiday season with content and campaigns that allow people to take a deep breath, and enjoy what we have today.
After all, God only knows what tragedy next year may bring.
We always win, ALWAYS.
